Shrimp Parmigiana recipe


  • 2 lbs raw jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley


Clean the shrimps well and dip them in flour, beaten eggs then bread crumbs. In a skillet, heat oil and fry the battered shrimps for few minutes until golden brown. Remove the shrimps and put them in a baking pan. Top them with tomato sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and bake the food for 10 minutes until cheese is melted. Finally, remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
